Season Premiere!!!

Wow! The beginning of the Desperate Housewives season premiere was ridiculous! Mike and Susan never got shot by Zack (thank god), but it’s really sad that Susan broke up with Mike. For those of you who didn’t see, here is what happened.
Mike found out that he is Zacks son. Mike had dated Dierdra in the past and when became pregnant ,she told Mike she would get an abortion ( but never did). Susan doesn’t trust Zack because she thinks he is psycho- that is why she broke up with Mike- to protect her daughter from Zack.
Gabrielle and John are not going to see each other anymore. She is still pregnant and Carlos wants her to take a paternity test. Of course sneaky Gabrielle used another woman’s results, but that didn’t work.
As for Lynette, she had an interview and actually brought her baby! I say good for her for multi-tasking and being a strong person, but she shouldn’t have brought her baby. I’m really glad she got the job though! Her boss is going to be tough.
In preparation for Rex’s funeral, Bree and her mother-in-law had to write a eulogy and dress Rex. They diagreed on everything. Bree has every right as a wife to make the final decisions for the funeral. Mrs. Van De Camp said some pretty hurtful comments about Brees marriage. How funny was it when Bree changed Rex’s tie in the middle of the funeral , then walked out of the church!!??Last, what is going on with the Applewhites? The new family on the block claims the father/husband had passed away when in actuality he is alive! What are they hiding and why? It seems pretty obvious that the man in the basement is tied up, but why!? Tell me what you think!
Responses to my Blog:
Most of you didn't belive the rumors about Eva Longoria, GREAT! Desperate Housewives is very simolar to Sex and the City in that rumors are made up about all of them, but the rumors aren't true. In ressponse to the picture of Felicity Hoffman, her hair does look like a bowl-cut! I don't know what she was thinking, but luckily she doesn't look like that anymore. I agree with Natalia, why should Teri Hatcher get paid $30,000 more than the rest of the cast? I know she is supposed to be the center of the show, but her role is no more important than the rest. I actually think Bree does that best acting job. Top TV Salaries are based on TV ratings. Those shows that do well really advance an actors career.

I agree last night’s season premiere was ridiculously good. It already has me asking so many questions and wanting to get so much more information on so many things. I have to admit that I kinda had a feeling that Zach was Mike’s son. Last season the thought crossed my mind considering Dierdre was Mike’s girlfriend and all, but since the show really didn’t do anything drastic to make us think it I guess I just let it slide until last night that is. I was so sad to see Mike and Susan break-up, but I have a feeling that their relationship is not quite over. As for Gabrielle, I am glad that she has broken things off with John, but I will be sad to see him go if they write his character off. Although she was tricky with the paternity test I didn’t think that it would work out. I was happy to see that Lynette got the job and I agree that the lady boss of hers is really going to be a handful to work for. It was sad to say goodbye to Rex, but the writers did a good job making it comical all the same. I really didn’t think that Bree would actually change the tie during the funeral, but I am glad she did because the orange one was pretty ugly! As for the new neighbors, the Applewhites, I can’t wait to see what their story is. I really wonder who the basement prisoner really is. My first thought is that it may be father that they told Bree and her daughter was dead. I guess only time will tell.

I completely forgot that Desperate Housewives was on last night until almost the end of the show. I was so mad, but knew I could find out the scoop from you guys. This blog thing really does come in handy!

I turned the tv on right when Bree was changing Rex's tie in his casket. I had no clue what was going on until afterwards, but they definitely kept her in character for that scene! I also saw the new neighbor on the street. What a weird spin they put on her character and I wonder if she will stay on for the whole season. I know they wont show us who is in the basement until the end of the season.

Well thanks for catching me up and I wont forget next week. P.S. You guys should really watch Grey's Anatomy also...I am sooo hooked on that show!

I was so excited for the Season Premiere and from the storyline that the producers set up it seems as if it is going to be a great season. I was really disappointed when Mike and Susan broke up but I don't think this is really the end. As for Gabrielle and Carlos she really has dug herself deep. I wonder who the father really is. Poor Bree, not only has her husband passed away thinking she tried to kill him, but to top it all off his mother is a horrible person. She had no right saying all those horrible things and sticking her nose in places it didn't belong. I think there is going to be more to this story, Rex's death wasn't clear enough.
So who do you think is locked in the Applewhite's basement? That is just entirely too weird. I can't wait for the next episode, hopefully some of my questions will be answered and that creapy pharmacist is back so it will most likely be good!

Last nights premier…fabulous. Such a fan of the show and I am so glad I have some other drama to follow in my life. I really didn’t think Rex was dead. I think Bree is hilarious. I knew that she was going to change his tie, it’s just like her. Just like she had to make the bed before she took Rex to the hospital. She’s a pisser. I’m curious to see if Carlos and Gabby make it through. I am a little surprise that Susan was really unsupportive of Mike. I liked them as a couple and was excited that they were moving in together. Maybe Edie will make her move in him now. Can’t wait for next week!!

The season premiere was really confusing. I don't understand what's going on with the Applewhites at all. They seem like really creepy people, and they don't hide it well. I was also upset to see Mike and Susan break up. They are so cute together. I had no clue that Mike was Zach's father; that came as a total shock to me, but it makes so much sense. The part with Gabrielle trying to figure out how to get a fake paternity test was hilarious, although I really wanted to know who the father is. I'd like to see her with John because he's nice to look at and I wouldn't mind if he were on the show more often. I'm not really a big fan of Carlos. He's too controlling and the incident with the birth control pills last season was sneaky and mean. I hope they end up getting a divorce.

The Season Premiere was really confusing. It was really good though! The thing that confuses me most is the new neighbor's hidden person in the basement, what kind of freaks do that?? Also, Zach is a really creepy kid, I know he's a had a lot of people lie to him and everything over his life but he's still strange and they need to get him some help. I understand why Susan can't be around him but it's a shame that Mike and Susan can't be together now because of it. They were so cute and she really loves him! I'm proud of Lynette for bringing her baby to the interview and not letting that lady intimidate her. She also did the right thing when she got the baby when she saw the guy she asked to watch her wasn't paying attention AT ALL.

Well, this episode was great, as expected. I cannot believe that Susan and Mike broke up! They seemed like such a great couple together and I really hope at some point they become a couple again! As far as Mike being Zach's father, I wonder if Zach will find out and how he will react! I am very glad that Gabrielle broke things off with John. That whole situation was a little ridiculous, especially with her husband in jail. However, John was fun to look at, even though he might be the worst actor of all time. I'm so happy Lynette is working again. She was always complaining that she missed being a business woman. But I do see balancing her children and a new job to be a problem. Guess we'll find out next week!
